The Gulf of Vasto on the Adriatic Sea in Abruzzo

Vasto is 6km form the Grotta del Saraceno Holiday Village. The town is situated on the headland so lending its name to the Gulf of Vasto. Its coast stretches along 7km of sandy shores and 13km of cliffs.

The town has numerous attractions including St. Joseph’s Cathedral, which dates from the Xlll century, the church of Maria Santissima del Carmine, the Avalos palace, built by Giacomo Caldora, the Caldoresco Castle,that dominates the coastline and the monument of Gabriele Rossetti.
